Highway 66 Revisited | The Gematria of Historic 'Route 66'

• Route Sixty-Six = 9+6+3+2+5+1+9+6+2+7+1+9+6 = 66

Ever wonder how they decided to number highways?  A clue might be found in US Route 66, the nation's first major highway, also known as 'The Mother Road' and 'Main Street of America'.  The highway began in Chicago, home of the 60606, when it was established November 11, 1926.  The highway ran through the heart of the country, finishing just north of Los Angeles and the 33rd parallel, in Santa Monica, CA.

• 11/11/1926 = 1+1+1+1+1+9+2+6 = 22
• 22 is the master builder number
• Master = 4+1+1+2+5+9 = 22
• 22 reduces to 4 in numerology (2+2 = 4)
• Car = 3+1+18 = 22

Please don't overlook the other symbolism!  An 11/11 birth, a route number divisible by 11, and a birth place in the 60606, or to some, the 666.  It also makes a cozy path, along the 33rd parallel, where it ends in the 'City of Angels'.

Highway 66 existed until it was replaced officially by the new highway system on June 27, 1985.  Interestingly enough, that is one day before the significant June 28, which has many memorable dates in history.  Perhaps in examining the demise of Highway 66, we can see that June 28 is a time for new beginnings.  To people of the Jewish faith, it certainly could mean that, as the revolt of 66 AD by the Jewish Germanic people against Rome is a tribute to this concept of new beginnings.
