Season 10, Episode 23 (What is 10+23?)

It has been said that the television show The Simpson's has had an uncanny knack for predicting future events to come.  Perhaps within the hidden numerology of the main characters, is a clue as to how the Simpson's have been able to make the predictions they have; from September 11 to radiated tomatoes.  As of today, February 2, 2014, the Simpson's have yet another opportunity to predict the future correctly, by calling the Super Bowl in the favor of the Broncos 19, Seahawks 14.  This prediction was made on the September 11, 2005 episode.  Please notice the sum of the score is equal to 33 as this number will be often repeating with the Simpson's.  Let us begin with the main character's names.

• Simpson = 1+9+4+7+1+6+5 = 33
• Homer = 8+6+4+5+9 = 32
• Bart = 2+1+9+2 = 14
• Lisa = 3+9+1+1 = 14
• Marge = 4+1+9+7+5 = 26
• Maggie = 4+1+7+7+9+5 = 33

What happens when you sum the whole family?

• 32+14+14+26+33 = 119

Homer, Bart and Lisa all reduce to 5.  Between the three, we have 555, matching the height of the Washington Monument and the three fives coded into the Pentagon; number of walls; number of floors; and size in acreage of center court.  Even five of the first thirteen colonies have the number 555 coded within.  Marge reduces to 8, and Maggie, the sixth member of the family, to 6.  Maggie's first name is also equal to 33, just as the entire family's last name is equal to 33.  Thus, the name Maggie Simpson is equal to 66, just like the sum total of the original 13 colonies, and the first highway built across the United States, Route 66.  Her first name even begins with M, the 13th letter in the alphabet.  The NFL also began in the year '66 along with the World Cup- both of those sports are about the old 11 v 11.  As for Marge and the number 8, it represents balance and power, which she represents in the family.  The only two states to host the nation's capital were Pennsylvania and the territory in Virginia now known as Washington D.C.  Both Pennsylvania and Virginia have a numerology of 8.  To learn more about the numerology of the original colonies, please click here.

Moving along, a favorite character in the Simpson's is Moe.  Bart loves to prank call the bar and Homer loves to drink there.  When we decoded the names above, we used what is called the Pythagorean method.  For decoding the name Moe, we will use the standard method.  As far as I know, these are the only two authentic methods to decode words.  The standard method equates the letter with its place in the alphabet, with A = 1 and Z = 26.  In the Pythagorean method, you sum the number until it is a single digit, thus Z = 8 because 2+6 = 8.  This is standard numerology.  With that said, let us decode Moe.

• Moe = 13+15+5 = 33

It is no secret that the Simpson's is one of the most successful and popular television shows in the history of the medium.  What is a secret however, is this number 33, and it makes one wonder how many people, out of the hundreds of millions who have seen it, have ever caught how it is coded into the show in such great abundance.

The thirty-third episode of the show aired in Season 2, and was titled "The War of the Simpson's".  The episode features a plot that gives tribute to Ernest Hemingway's Old Man and the Sea and features a battle for the ages between Homer Simpson and General Sherman.  Let us quickly examine the numerology of Sherman.

• Sherman = 1+8+5+9+4+1+5 = 33
• Simpson = 1+9+4+7+1+6+5 = 33

Think about it, a battle between two 33s, in the thirty-third episode.  Perhaps it would take the son of a mother who was born on the day Old Man and the Sea was published, and a son who has the same birthday as Ernest Hemingway himself, July 21, to decode such information.  Let us close by examining this BuzzFeed article which has connected Simpson's plot predictions that came true to life.  Also, please notice this article does not even mention the September 11 connection, as shown in the picture below.
