33 | Facebook Dinosaur "Zuckasaurus" and the New York TImes

In the week following Godzilla, Facebook has rolled out a new mascot, a blue dinosaur, the New York Times has taken the liberty to name "Zuckasaurus".

• Zuckasaurus = 8+3+3+11+1+1+1+3+9+3+1 = 44

In the article on the subject, courtesy of CNN, it is explained why Facebook chose a blue dinosaur as their mascot.  Let us examine the following excerpt to see if anything is curious.

But why a dinosaur?

"Our team looked at a few different characters, saw the dinosaur, and just thought he was the friendliest and best choice," said Raylene Yung, an engineering manager on Facebook's privacy team. "Once we tried him out, we saw some great results and welcomed him to the team."

Doesn't something look wrong with the name of Raylene Yung?  How often is the name Young spelled without an 'O'?  If you pay attention to CNN's reporting, as well as other mainstream reporting, you'll often catch these unusual name spellings.  Another common example is Garry.  Let us examine why, starting with Raylene.

• Raylene = 7+1+7+3+5+5+5+ 33
• Yung = 7+3+5+7 = 22
• Raylene Yung = 33+22 = 55
• Garry = 7+1+9+9+7 = 33 

As for the number 33, the New York Times was established September 18, 1851.

• 9/18/1851 = 9+1+8+1+8+5+1 = 33

The New York Times first published the word 'Holocaust' more than a decade before the actual event.

• Holocaust = 8+6+3+6+3+1+3+1+2 = 33
