NBA Finals | 1984 and 2014 | A 30-Year Preplanned Anniversary? | From David Stern to Adam Silver

Let us quickly look at the similarities between the 1984 and 2014 NBA Finals. Let us also take notice that the 1984 finals were nicknamed "Bird versus Magic"; where it was Boston Celtics versus Los Angeles Lakers.

• Bird = 2+9+18+4 = 33
• Magic = 13+1+7+9+3 = 33
• Boston is located in one of three "33" states
• Massachusetts = 4+1+1+1+1+3+8+3+1+5+2+2+1 = 33
• Los Angeles sprawls into the 33rd Parallel North

Moving on, in 1984, the Celtics were 62-20 during the regular season and the Lakers were 54-28. The NBA welcomed a new commissioner in David Stern, replacing Larry O'Brien on April 1, 1984. The Finals that season was also the last time the Finals used the 2-2-1-1-1 format before going to the 2-3-2 format in 1985.

 

In 2014, the Spurs and Heat are in the NBA Finals. The Spurs were 62-20 during the regular season and the Heat were 54-28, matching the respective teams from the 1984 campaign. The NBA welcomed a new commissioner in Adam Silver on February 1, replacing David Stern, just as it happened in 1984. This Finals will be, for the first time since 1984, using the 2-2-1-1-1 format.  Also, the reason that name Larry is so familiar in the NBA, is because it has "74" numerology.  The first NBA championship was held in 1947, notice that '47 is the reverse of 74.

•  Larry = 12+1+18+18+25 = 74

The Celtics won in 7 games.  Will the Spurs win in 7 this year?  Time will tell.  Involved with both the Lakers of 1984, and the Heat of today, is Patrick Riley, who coined the term "Three-Peat", even putting a trademark (TM) on it.

• Patrick = 7+1+2+9+9+3+2 = 33
• Riley = 9+9+3+5+7 = 33
• TM = 20+13 = 33

Honestly, my feeling was that after the horse named California Chrome came up one short of the "Triple Crown" in the Belmont Stakes, was that the narrative also meant no "Three-Peat" for LeBron James and the Miami Heat.  It is my belief that the same people are orchestrating the outcomes of all of these major sports events, for the purpose of some greater narrative that they see taking place.  If you think that is crazy, please visit my post on the Belmont Stakes, written before the actual event, where I demonstrated why I thought Tonalist might win the race.  A major clue was that he had the only "33" owner, and his trainer was the only "33" trainer other than California Chrome's.
