It is said that the term 'Apple of my eye' originates from King Aelfred, of 885 AD. The phrase has a Gematria of 144, just like 'Mark of the beast'. Both phrases have origins in the Bible as well.

- Mark of the beast = 13+1+18+11+15+6+20+8+5+2+5+1+19+20 = 144
