First of all, I'm gaffing that this presents 'manifest destiny' as something of the past.  Ask most Americans what they think of their country, and they'll respond with the very essence of manifest destiny.

• Manifest = 4+1+5+9+6+5+1+2 = 33
• Destiny = 4+5+1+2+9+5+7 = 33
• Manifest Destiny = 33+33 = 66

Do you recall the sum of the first 13 colonies?  Yes, 66.

Do you recall the first highway built across the nation?  Yes, Route Sixty-Six

• Route = 9+6+3+2+5 = 25
• Sixty = 1+9+6+2+7 = 25
• Six = 1+9+6 = 16
• Route Sixty-Six = 25+25+16 = 66

If you write out 33 as thirty-three...

• Thirty = 2+8+9+9+2+7 = 37
• Three = 2+8+9+5+5 = 29
• Thirty-Three = 37+29 = 66
