Before Tom Brady, "The Pats" had only made it to the Super Bowl twice, and had never won. Since Tom Brady, they have made it six more times, and won three Super Bowls. Tom Brady is the first quarterback to ever start in six Super Bowls.
Also, the Patriots have a 44-connection as well it turns out. They joined the AFC East for the '70-'71 Season, 44-years ago.
