Citizens United was the 2010 decision by the Supreme Court that allowed corporations to then be able to contribute as much money as they like to political contributions. Since this decision, each election cycle we have seen record setting spending on political advertising. This is by no surprise.
- Supreme = 10+3+7+9+5+4+5 = 43
- Court = 3+6+3+9+2 = 23
- Supreme Court = 66
The decision again sparking controversy is 'Citizens United'.
- Citizens = 3+9+2+9+8+5+5+1/10 = 42/51
- United = 3+5+9+2+5+4 = 28
