I'm sad to say I made this observation wearing grey and white pin stripes, orange sandals, and from the comfort of a jail cell, enjoying the warm aromas of the number twos marinating in the air from my nine other cell mates who were all staying good and busy on the lone john.

Could 88 reference insanity? Sorry for going off topic, but with just one post this weekend I'm needing a 'Zach fix!' I was wanting to see a Daylight Saving post!
This is what I saw in Nevada:
Assemblyman Chris Edwards (whose full name sums to 77 using reduced gematria letting S=10) is looking to get rid of Daylight Saving Time changes. He teamed up with fellow Assemblyman Derek Armstrong on Assembly Joint Resolution 4, which recommends Nevada stop practicing DST.
We're told "Janine Hansen" is the Nevada resident who motivated the politicians to introduce the legislation. That name sums to 114 and 51 (just like the word 'governor'). 114 is relevant because it is related to 44 and we are in the 114th U.S. Congressional session. 51 of course is the conspiracy number, think Area 51, also conspiracy sums to 51.
Here is what I found most curious. Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval got a quote in the article - and it is coded. I wonder if coded quotes like this are just silly or actually send a message. Here is the quote followed by number notes:
Gov. Brian Sandoval designated this past Saturday as “Suddenly Sleepy Saturday-A Day for Narcolepsy Awareness.”
Suddenly Sleepy Saturday = 1+3+4+4+5+5+3+7+1+3+5+5+7+7+1+1+2+3+9+4+1+7 = 88
(Just like 'Daylight Saving Time' and 'Sandoval')
