Watching the Boston at Cleveland playoff game, I noticed the 42 banner in the rafters, that of former Cavalier Nate Thurmond. Notice that this man has had his number retired by the Warriors and the Cavaliers, the two teams favored to meet in the NBA Finals at this moment in time.
- Nathaniel = 5+1+2+8+1+5+9+5+3 = 39
- Nate = 5+1+2+5 = 13
- Thurmond = 2+8+3+9+4+6+5+4 = 41
- Nathaniel Thurmond = 80
- Nate Thurmond = 54
The reason this stands out to me is because of LeBron James, who is currently on a 2-year $42-million deal, has a connection '42' himself outside of his contract.
- LeBron = 3+5+2+9+6+5 = 30
- James = 1+1+4+5+1 = 12
- LeBron James = 42
So, will we see a Warriors vs Cavaliers NBA Finals? From November 4, 2014, I have had a hunch the NBA Finals would be Blazers vs Cavs, who were both established 44-years earlier, 1970.
- NBA Finals 5+2+1+6+9+5+1+3+1 = 33/42
- This year's NBA Finals will begin 6/4
- College Championship was 4/6
