33 54 84 113 228 | World Series Game 1 Had Eyes for "Rusty Kuntz" (KC First Base Coach)

Rusty Kuntz February 4 birthday, is the same day that Super Bowl 47 went dark for 33 minutes....
If you watched the game last night, you might have noticed that the camera kept panning to Rusty Kuntz.  I started to think there must be a clue in this man's career.  Notice from his bio, he never played in more than 84-games, and in 1984, in the final game of the World Series, he knocked in the winning run with a pop up to second base, an uncommon play to earn a run batted in, especially a winning run.

Last night the Royals ended up winning 5-4 on a sacrifice fly to right field.

Russell = 9+3+1+1+5+3+3 = 25/43
Jay = 1+1+7 = 9
Kuntz = 2+3+5+2+8 = 20
Russel Jay Kuntz = 54/72
***Baseball = 2+1+19+5+2+1+12+12 = 54 (Score 5-4)

It was the 228th pitch of the game that was hit for the winning sacrifice fly to right field last night, Game 1 of the World Series.

Baseball is America's Past Time, so these numbers are specific to the sport, and obvious, Rusty's career.

Remember Rusty's legacy as this World Series plays out.

Notice the day his MLB playing career concluded on.

4/24/1985 = 4+2+4+1+9+8+5 = 33
4/24/1985 = 4+24+(1+9+8+5) = 51
4/24/1985 = 4+24+19+85 = 132
4/24/85 = 4+24+85 = 113
