Notice the 1:16, a lot like 116.  This corresponds perfectly with the gematria of Texas Christian University.  Again, ESPN demonstrates that they are very well aware of the language of gematria.


Purple = 88 (47-41, 47+41 = 88... Purple Team won)
Christian = 47 (Texas Christian University won with 47 points)
