Belichick has been coaching in the NFL since 1975, when he began with the Baltimore Colts as an assistant.  In 1976, he went on to work for the Detroit Lions coaching staff, who he remained with through the 1977 season.  In 1978, he joined the Denver Broncos coaching staff.  The next season, 1979, Belichick would begin a 12-year coaching stint with the New York Giants, 1979-1990, a team he has faced twice in Super Bowls as the head coach of the Patriots.  In fact, that is the only team he has lost to in a Super Bowl as the head coach of the Patriots.

In 1991, Bilichick would be made the head coach of the Cleveland Browns, his first time as HC.  He would remain with the team until he was fired February 15, 1996.  From the Brown he would transition to the Patriots, for the 1996 season, as an assistant coach to Bill Parcells.  That season they would lose in the Super Bowl to the Packers.

After that season, Bilichik became the interim head coach of the Jets for 1997, and later, during the same stint, an assistant head coach of the team.  He would remain in that position through the 1999 season.  In 2000, he became the head coach of the Patriots, where he has remained ever since.

  1. Nice. I never knew he had a Stephen thrown in there. So I have a 33 name born on a day with 33 numerology.

Maybe I should have been a Mason!
    I jest.

Gotta love that 666 percentage, and his "grey hoodie"
