38 | Tom Brady's first start of 2001 season, against Manning, his last of 2001, against Panthers

Did you know that Tom Brady's very first start in the NFL was against the Indianapolis Colts and Peyton Manning?  That game was played September 30, 2001.  The game was the first win of the Patriots season, and the first of Tom Brady's career.  Making matters even more interesting, is how the Patriots closed out the same season.

Notice the sum of the score, 44-13, for a total of 57 points.

Fifty-Seven = 131
Super Bowl = 131
Championship = 131

Notice below, the final game of the regular season, 2001, before going on to win the Super Bowl over the Rams, was against the Carolina Panthers.  The Patriots won that game 38-6.  The Patriots would win their next Super Bowl, after the Rams, over the Panthers, in Super Bowl 38, emphasis on 38.

Again, this year, the Super Bowl is on the 38th day of the year, which bodes well for both the 38-year old Tom Brady, as well as the Denver Broncos, who are from the 38th state, Colorado.

Colorado = 3+6+3+6+9+1+4+6 = 38

  1. They lost to the st. louis rams on MNF. Then they played them in the superbowl. Nfl is a joke.

  2. That Brady .771 statistic is suspicious. Kubiak is going for win #77, Mile High Stadium = 77, and if Denver is playing in the Super Bowl, it will be their first trip to San Fran in 77 weeks. That was a preseason game, on 8/17 (a lot like 8/8), and their previous game there was another preseason game, on 8/8 precisely. Fitting nicely with the point I mentioned the other day, that Denver's win in Super Bowl 33 falls exactly 888 weeks before Super Bowl 50. Denver, Colorado = 88, and their airport - just off 88th ave - allegedly sits atop 88 square miles of space underneath.

    1. That is all very great work Sean, the narrative is really here for both teams.

    2. Added bonus (in case no one has mentioned it): the last game between the Broncos and Panthers totaled 50 points.

    4. Thanks Zach, yea it was 1183 days before 2/7 (that number again, Denver COVERED of course), or 169 weeks, the sum of the divisors of which is 183.
