Is the sale of 55,000 acres of land to be torn up for natural gas a tribute to Satan? Perhaps its a Christmas present from Santa.

It seems the recent direction of the company is selling off assets and downsizing their workforce. You could say that is par for the course for a publicly traded company, where the only thing that matters is to boost earnings for shareholders, no matter what means necessary. You could also say it is the sign of a company that is about to crumble and go under, like other Energy giants of the past, such as Enron.
Again, the death of Aubrey McClendon reminds very much of Ken Lay's timely passing.
It was exactly 50 weeks from the date of the report revealing McClendon's wrongdoing to the date he stepped down as Chairman of the company he founded.
