Has anyone here ever, say, cut the tip of your finger off? Did the blood pool or spray? And even a little knick can spray a huge mess if the heart rate is up. I have been cut several times in my life, from knicks to nearly severing my fingers with a chopsaw. First off, the color of the blood is all wrong, furthermore, cars don't knock body parts off of people unless they are really flying. While we are just bags of fluid liable to explode, we don't explode like that, we burst. Meaning, you might spring a leak in your side if hit at the right angle, but not a bit of you will detonate.
ReplyDeleteI've been hit by a couple cars too. They smash. They squish. Most injuries and bleeding from being hit by a car are internal. It is only when you are in the car thay you are more likely to get cut or lose a limb out the window. Hollywood brought the Pools of Blood. And reality just doesn't work like that.
I have some experience with what you're saying, and I agree with all of your premises.
