ReplyDeleteJust a thought, thinking MLB turns Cubs into a "super team" like the warriors of the NBA. End up having Cubs win this year then blowing it all next year in WS when they are heavier favorites. Because the story lines feel similar to me. Young team on the uprise win. Go into next season defending championship successfully till the bitter end. I dunno just a thought. Most these stories are starting to sound the same. Even the Seahawks had a similar story couple years ago.
