Notice the Giants and Cubs are starting at 9:30. The Cubs clinched a playoff birth with their 93rd win. Also notice Arrieta is on the mound, on 'prophecy day', 10/10.
Also, in the Giants game, Bumgarner is pitching at home, and if he wins, he'll be 9-3 in the playoffs.
Update: Read about Arrieta's 3-run-home-run:

Unrelated, but Lebron James is out for 3 of the preseason games with a sore back. I am sure there is some narrative going on with this.
ReplyDeleteThere are 3 "Game Threes" tonight in baseball (Cleveland is one of them)
It said he will return to play in the preseason finale at Ohio State.
"Sore Back" = 74 444
"Three Games" = 47/56 101 606
"Healthy Back" = 96
"Preseason finale" = 69/58

DeleteIndians did win 3 straight.
DeleteDoes Arrieta 18-8= Bravarian 188.....
ReplyDeleteZach ive brought a few things about the Chicago bulls to your attention in the last couple weeks. do you think a cubs vs Indians world series could foreshadow a bulls vs cavs east finals this year?
ReplyDeleteThat would make a lot of sense, and that is what I suspect the ECF will be with Wade returning to Chicago. It seems too ratings savvy for the NBA to pass up.
Deletethe question is will the bulls beat the cavs. I would expect the cubs to beat the Indians. I am trying to line up parlays for all of the championships nfl afc and nfc, nba east and west champs, and mlb AL and NL. bets are small and pay outs are huge. if we hit on one we would have the funding to start something significant.
DeleteGreat thought Mike.
DeleteI have a champions parlay going too. only cost .50 cents for a 97k payout. I need to do another one with the cubs though. I have:
Deletedodgers world series
Michigan CFB
colts NFL
Bulls NBA
That's all for 2017? What website are you doing that through? 50 cents for almost 100 tho man...
DeleteBovada
DeleteId post a pic but cant figure out how to on here
DeleteNo bet.
ReplyDeleteThere were 13s all over the Cleveland Boston game. Tomlin (Cleveland) and jake arrieta (Cubs) have the same 45 ER. Tomlin (Cleveland) looks like the winning pitcher while San Fran looks like it will beat the Cubs.
San Fran-Cubs have this 64/75 thing happening.
Season series was 4-3. With playoffs it is 5-3. So, I anticipate the Cubs will win Game 4 but lose Game 3.
That would give a 7-4 season vs San Fran, including playoffs.
Otherwise, Chicago would win it in Chicago, for a 7-5 season vs San Fran, including playoffs.
Either way, the numbers look good for the Cubs, just not tonight.
Plus BUMGARNER =33 ARRIEATA =33
ReplyDeleteDouble check that gematria friend. =)
DeleteMy bad Arrieta birth numo = 33
Delete82 days left in the year.
ReplyDeleteWashington Nationals = 82/100
Great catch!
Delete"Game three" = 82
DeleteAnother nice one!
DeleteI had Washington winning, don't have my notes on me but I think Gonzalez birthdate was 82 days both ways
DeleteBumgarner currently 8-3 in post season a win will make him 9-3 kinda like 93.. the BUMSTER ALSO=33
ReplyDeleteZack you had the mets, then the Astros Rangers. Now is Cubs??? Why do these picks keep changing?
ReplyDeleteThe Cubs are the popular pick since Epstein took the job. There's no surprise with the quick turn around.
I'm usually supporting your work but it's respected more when you stick to your picks and being wrong is a learning curve.
Colts vs Giants
You had several MLB teams
CFB you have Clemson and LSU
NBA you have Cavs again I believe or is it Warriors?

DeleteNationals won their 93 game on the day that left 93 days in the year 9/30/16 against the Marlins...
ReplyDelete9/29 leaves 93-days.

DeleteGiants score off of the cubs bullpen for the first time in 33 1/3 innings. Ha hahahah. They score 3 runs. Crazy!
ReplyDeleteChapman allows 33% of inherited runs in his career. Lol
DeleteThey might put Sergio Romo number #54 from Giants just like Chapman #54 from Cubs.
ReplyDeleteTomorrows game starts at 5:40 pacific time. "54" lol
DeleteKris Bryant ties it
ReplyDeleteKris Bryant = 137, 33rd prime.
DeleteThe giants 30th blown save of the season.
ReplyDeletethe SECOND the announcer said Sergio Romo hasn't allowed a run in 13 straight home playoff appearances. I knew he was gonna give one up. This was his 14th appearance. 14 = die
ReplyDeletetoo many streaks end at 14. the cavs playoff streak. indians regular season win streak. panthers 2015 wins streak. clemson football 14-0 record against alabama. roethlisberger's completion streak against the jets. and now Romo's scoreless appearances streak
DeleteEnd = 14
Deleteyou're right. it's end. i made a mistake and thought it was die.
DeleteI just knew Romo was going to choke. He had the same number like Chapman.
Delete@Wildfire That's crazy!
DeleteLet's see if Posey does anything he's 3-3

ReplyDeleteHere is something to keep you guys awake
The longest major league postseason game was the second game of the 2014 National League Division Series, with the visiting San Francisco Giants winning 2-1 in 18 innings over the Washington Nationals. The game ended just after midnight on October 5, 2014 and lasted 6 hours 23 minutes.
