30 84 88 293 | Dodgers make it to 114th World Series on anniversary date of winning '88 World Series 30-years earlier, October 20, 1988

This season began on March 29, or 29/3, the 88th day of the year.  In '88, the Dodgers won the World Series on October 20, the 293rd day of the year.

Notice the Dodgers won 94-games that season:  Ninety-Four = 147; World Series = 147

As I've been saying since Spring Training, this season began on the 88th day of the year, the earliest start in MLB history, and the Dodgers haven't won the World Series since '88.

That was the 84th World Series and today's win came 84-days from the starting pitchers birthday for the Dodgers.

Consider that championship was 30-years ago and today is 10/20 or 10+20 = 30

If you missed the Fox pregame, they did a bit on the "cast" of the Dodgers team and what "part they were playing" of the '88 team, calling Walker Buehler the Orel Hershiser of the '88 team.

The box score for the game is here:

Also, the Dodgers have advanced to their 20th World Series on the 20th.

It was #22, Clayton Kershaw who closed it out, winning Dave Roberts his 22nd postseason game.  Roberts will now face the Red Sox he once played for.

Master Builder = 57 / 147; World Series = 57 / 147

*There ended up being 47-runs scored in the series.  Time = 47; Saturn = 30
