ReplyDeleteBy your mentality, you associate favorites to be winners every single time which is not always the case. In fact I find underdogs to be much better for betting.
Before the season started I picked Raptors to go to the Finals. Granted I also had Lakers winning it all, but even if I put a grand on Lakers winning it all, and another grand on the Raptors to win the East, I would have made much more than I lost.
Also, by your logic, how did the Spurs win so many championships with their best player (Duncan) looking and acting like a robot? How did Cleveland (really, Cleveland?)win a ring against a historic 73 win team? How did a guy like Ruiz knockout Joshua? etc., etc., etc.
btw, I got Raptors in 6. I knew Warriors were gonna win last game.
Nobody picks perfectly, but I predicted last year before NFL season started that Patriots would beat Rams in Superbowl.
