      Exactly and look how many pro wrestlers played football in college. The XFL is a picture perfect manifestation of the revolving door between pro football and pro wrestling. One theory I have is that the XFL exists purely to offset and legitimize the NFL; XFL is openly run by pro wrestling people, while the NFL is secretly run by pro wrestling people. In this same manner, the Republicans exist to offset the Democrats and vice versa when roles are reversed.

      Pro wrestling and football tie in to the 'reality show' concept. For example, Vince McMahon's wife..
