Basket of deplorables is such an odd phrase. WTF does it even mean? It reminds me of Sarah Palin's "blood libel" remark. Its so weirdly old fashioned that it sounds like a euphamism for something else. These bitches choose their words carefully so I can only conclude that it was used to fire up the conspiracy theorists

Basket of deplorables reminds me of this goofy low budget horror movie from the 80s called Basket Case. It's about a guy who carries his deformed, insane Siamese twin brother around in a basket as they search NYC for the surgeon that seperated them.
