41 84 322 | The Death of Mike Brey's Mother, Betty Brey, Former Olympic Athlete

It is coming out today that Mike Brey, head coach of Notre Dame men's basketball, had his mother die on March 21, the date Notre Dame beat Butler by a score of 67-64, advancing to the "Sweet Sixteen".

His mother, Betty Brey died at the curious age of 84-years old.

Notice that Betty Brey was an Olympic Athlete in 1956, and Mike Brey turned 56 the day after her death, on March 22, 2015.  When I watched him on ESPN this morning, he was smiling as he talked about his mother's recent death.  To me, it is all very strange.  Especially since his mother appeared in good health as she supported Notre Dame through the recent ACC Men's Tournament.

Let us also note that Notre Dame is a Catholic School, a religious sect connected to many 'deaths by the numbers'.  This death looks awfully suspicious, and if Betty really was killed, that makes Mike Brey a special human being for all the wrong reasons.  This story also reminds of Chris Paul's dead grandfather and other curious sports related deaths, such as the death of the part owner of the New York Giants just minutes before Super Bowl 49.
