Isn't that cute, 33,000 and 11,000 for a sum of 44,000?  What does 44 remind us of?
  • Military = 4+9+3+9+2+1+9+7 = 44
  • Kill 11+9+12+12 = 44
    • Marine = 4+1+9+9+5+5 = 33
  • Also, the initials for Memorial Day, or MD
    • M = 13 = 4
    • D = 4
    • MD = 44
