111 | Chiefs at Texans, January 9, 2016, AFC Wild Card Round Preview

In my mind, the most interesting matchup of the Wild Card Round is the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans.  Why?  Because in history, the Dallas Texans, established by Hank Stram, later became the Kansas City Chiefs.  In other words, the teams have history.

Notice that Hank Stram, founder of the Texans, was born January 3, 1923, and the Houston Texans clinched their playoff birth on January 3, 2016, the 93-year anniversary of his birth.

Hank = 8+1+5+2 = 16 (Texans in playoffs in '16)
Stram = 1+2+9+1+4 = 17/26 (Texans hosting Super Bowl in '17)
Hank Stram = 33/42

Houston hosting Super Bowl 51
Notice Hank Stram died on the 4th of July, written 4/7 or 7/4.  The last time the Chiefs and Texans met, the Chiefs won 27-20, summing to 47 points, the very special number to the NFL, and very similar to the date of Hank's death.

Currently, the Chiefs lead the series between the two teams, 4 games to 3, having won the last two match ups, with the latest game being played at the beginning of this season, and the Chiefs winning on the road in Houston.  Lifetime, the Chiefs are 3-2 in Houston.  Notice the first ever game played there, the Chiefs won 42-14.  If they win this coming Saturday, they will improve to 4-2 in Houston.

What makes me think the Chiefs will prevail this coming Saturday, is that the original Texans team, the Dallas Texans of 1952, went 1-11.  111 is the number of Kansas City this year, who won the 111th World Series, and who are lead by Alex Smith, #11, in his 11th season, leading the Chiefs with 11 wins.  Making matters even more interesting, the last time the Chiefs won the Super Bowl, it was over the Minnesota Vikings on January 11, or 1/11, 1970.

Alex Smith = 111
Minnesota Vikings = 111

That's a whole lot of 111, and a whole lot of 111 that is favorable to the Chiefs, not the Texans, who went 1-11 in their inaugural season.

  1. From 1/3/1923 to 7/4/2005 is 30,133 days. He also died exactly 174 years after James Monroe was murdered.

  2. I'm practicing some at this:

    Date of wild card game:
    1/9/2016= 1+9+20+16= 46
    1/9/2016= 1+9+(2+0+1+6)= 19
    1/9/16= 1+9+16= 26

    (would this be date numerology of 10?)

    Kansas City Chiefs = 64/82 (1)

    64 matches the date number of 46 backwards

    From week 1 of the season on 9/27/15:
    KC 27 - HOU 20

    Cathing my eye:
    1st 2 scoring drives were TD to TE Kelce.
    10 yd pass on a drive that was 42 seconds
    42 yard pass on a drive that was 83 yards

    more connections to 42 mentioned in the article.

    Would you say this is more indications for KC to win the wild card game?
