44 47 | Packers at Redskins, NFC Wild Card Round Preview, January 10, 2016

The Packers lead the Redskins 19-14-1 all-time.  Twice, they have met in playoffs, splitting the two contests.  Let us examine those games.

The Packers won the first matchup, 21-6, December 13, 1936.  Notice that game was against the 'Boston' Redskins.

12/13/1936 = 12+13+19+36 = 80
12/13/1936 = 12+13+(1+9+3+6) = 44 (Wisconsin)

12/13/36 = 12+13+36 = 61

The second time, after the team relocated to D.C., the Redskins won, 16-3, December 24, 1972.  The Redskins would go on to win Super Bowl VII that season.

I think there is symbolism in the team from '44 Land', Wisconsin, coming to Washington D.C., currently the home of the 44th President.

In the 2000s, the Redskins have only defeated the Packers once, trailing the series 1-5 for the century.

It is interesting to me that the Packers and Seahawks both play in the Wild Card Round, and both have 10-6 records.  I have always referred to the Seahawks as the Packers farm team, sometimes calling the Seahawks, "Packers West".  Notice that both teams play on the road as well in the opening round of the playoffs.  As I said in my Seahawks-Vikings writeup, "106" was the number not to have in the Wild Card Round of the MLB Playoffs, as both teams with '106' connections playing in that round lost, the Yankees and the Pirates.

Notice the Packers come into the game with 51-playoff games, having won 31, along with 13 championships.  With regards to this being their 52nd game, that is a good number in terms of the fact that this year, the Super Bowl is hosted in California, and last year's Super Bowl closed out with a sum of '52' points.

California = 3+1+3+9+6+6+9+5+9+1 = 52

Also notice the Redskins come in with 41-playoff games, and 23 wins.  January 10, 2016, will be their 42nd playoff game, a very important number to the Freemasons who run the league.
