33 47 | Seahawks at Vikings, Wild Card Round Preview, NFL Playoffs, January 10, 2016

The teams with 106 conniptions were eliminated in the Wild Card Round of the MLB Playoffs...
The Seahawks and Vikings have never met in the playoffs.  All-time, the Seahawks lead the Vikings 9-5, having won the last three times the two teams have met.  Two of those wins were in Seattle, the most recent was in Minnesota.

The date of the game, between the two teams, has numerology that is important to both Minnesota and Seattle.  Keep in mind the game will be played at U.S. Bank Stadium, home of the Vikings, where the Seahawks have never played before.

1/10/2016 = 1+10+20+16 = 47

Seattle on 47th Parallel
Minnesota = 4+9+5+5+5+1+6+2+1 = 38/47
U.S. Bank Stadium = 3+1+2+1+5+2+1+2+1+4+9+3+4 = 38/47/56

The oddsmakers are saying the Seahawks are a 5.5 point favorite in 'Minneapolis'.

Minneapolis = 4+9+5+5+5+1+7+6+3+9+1 = 55/64

It is interesting to note that this will be Mike Zimmer's 33rd game as the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings.  Mike Zimmer was born on the 156th day of the year.

Thirty-Three = 20+8+9+18+20+25+20+8+18+5+5 = 156
June 5, 156th day of the year

Mike Zimmer is also currently 59-years old.

Mike = 4+9+2+5 = 20
Zimmer = 8+9+4+4+5+9 = 39
Mike Zimmer = 59

As for the head coach of the Seahawks, Pete Carroll, he has currently coached 106 games for the Seahawks, 96 regular season, 10 in the post season.  Again, the Seahawks are coming into the playoffs with a 10-6 record, a lot like 106.  In the Wild Card Round of the MLB Playoffs, that was the losing number.

Peter = 7+5+2+5+9 = 28
Clay = 3+3+1+7 = 14
Carroll = 3+1+9+9+6+3+3 = 34
Peter Clay Carroll = 76 (Seahawks joined NFL in '76)

If the Vikings lose this coming Sunday, it will be the first time they have lost to the Seahawks four consecutive times in a row.  Also, one last point, the Super Bowl winning Seahawks, won with Percy Harvin, a player that transitioned from the Vikings to the Seahawks for their winning season.  Percy Harvin signed a $6.7m contract on March 11, 2014 before going on to win the Super Bowl.  If Vikings win, I think it will be "payback".

3/11/2014 = 3+11+20+14 = 48 (Super Bowl 48 season)

Percy = 7+5+9+3+7 = 31
Harvin = 8+1+9+4+9+5 = 36
Percy Harvin = 67 ($6.7m contract)

Let us close by examining the teams' respective playoff histories.

This Sunday will be the Seahawks 28th playoff game.  You have to love Holmgren's 86 wins all-time...

This Sunday will be the Vikings 47th playoff game, on a date with '47' numerology and in a '47' location.

Minnesota = 4+9+5+5+5+1+6+2+1 = 38/47
1/10/2016 = 1+10+20+16 = 47

  3. Hey Zach, long time man. Hope all is well. Being from the MN area, I looked into the Vikings making it to the Super Bowl. Right now their post season record is 19-27 = 46. The next game will be their 47th, with the date numo of 47. If the Vikings do win the Super Bowl, their post season record will be 23-27 = 50 (like Super Bowl 50) Their first game was in SF where they lost on MNF 20-3 =23. There have been a couple tributes this year for the Vikings and 23. They've lost to DEN 23-20, they beat CHI 23-20, and AZ 23-20, who they will play if they beat SEA. Just a couple things I stumbled upon.
