5 45 85 | The reason Alabama won with 45-points, a tribute to 'Nicholas' & NFL's '85 Bears and '15 Panthers

Notice that Watson had 47 attempts.  I have to admit, I was very impressed with him.  That was the first college game I watched all season and he was fun to watch.  Very strong, very tough, very talented, best college QB I've seen in some time.

The final TD of the game helped Vegas with the spread, and killed the gematria alignment of 33 points for the Tigers, and 78-total points on the game.  However, there is something about '85 and the NFL.

Clemson = 3+3+5+4+1+6+5 = 27/36
Tigers = 2+9+7+5+9+1 = 33/42
Clemson Tigers = 60/78 (45+33 = 78)

With regards to '85', there are two things.  One, Watson was wearing the #85 on his wrist all night.  Second, the '85 Chicago Bears went to the Super Bowl and defeated the New England Patriots, 46-10, after finishing the regular season with a 15-1 record.  I bring this up because the Carolina Panthers are 15-1 this year, and are coached by Ron Rivera, who played for that '85 Bears team.  Ron Rivera is also from the Bay Area, where the Super Bowl is hosted.

Chicago = 3+8+9+3+1+7+15 = 46

Notice that the season prior to the Bears success, they lost to the 15-1 49ers, who are hosting the Super Bowl this year.  Also notice the mention of 10-6, a lot like 106, a number that has been important in the playoffs thus far.

With regards to Chicago, the Cardinals are originally from Chicago, and now play in Arizona, where tonight's game was hosted... something else to think about.  That Ron Rivera, and the Panthers finishing 15-1 however, is pretty strong.

As for Alabama winning with 45-points, I have a theory on that.

Nicholas = 5+9+3+8+6+3+1+1 = 36/45
Nicholas won his 5th title by 5 points, 45-50

Nick Saban's birth name is Nicholas, he just became the second most successful coach in NCAA history in terms of championship wins, with 5.
