The UK are about to vote on whether to stay in the EU. This tournament is an opportunity to distract people away from whatever the government is really up to.
Perhaps it's just me being a jaded individual by nature, but I've always failed to see what the draw was to people beating the crap out of each other for 'entertainment' purposes. Call me silly, but the barbaric nature of the 'sport' is repulsive and always has been. Not to mention the guy wasn't a very nice person away from the ring.
