57 114 147 | Sports Illustrated calls Astros to repeat in 114th World Series, November 2, 2017 +Astros 11-4 win on August 27, 2018, the anniversary of the flood

Don't forget about the back-to-back ritual with James Harden of the Rockets scoring 51 in back-to-back games over the two NBA LA teams, 51-days after the Houston Astros won Game 7 of the World Series by a score of 5-1:

In light of the Dodgers and Astros knocking out the Indians and Braves on Indigenous People Day, and them both appearing in the 113th World Series, the score of the Astros game is quite comical, winning 11-3.

It reminds of this article written by SI after the Astros beat the Dodgers in the 113th World Series.  As you'll recall, SI had the Astros World Series call for last year, the 113th, years in advance, even with George Springer on the cover of that magazine, who was the MVP of the series.

Thanks Holly for the reminder!

The man who wrote the article and made the predictions is Ben Reiter.

The Astros are in their 57th season.

For the Astros to win the 114th World Series, they will have to win 114-games total on the season.

Consider that 57-days before the start of the World Series, on the anniversary of the Houston Flood, August 27, 2018, Houston won 11-4 over the Athletics.

That was their 131st game too.  *Fifty-Seven = 131; Championship = 131

*The Athletics are in their 118th season like the Red Sox

The A's are only one of three teams in baseball history to win back-to-back championships.

*The A's beat the Reds in '72, the Mets in '73 and the Dodgers in '74.

The remaining teams in the National League are the Dodgers and the Brewers.

Last year the Astros beat the Dodgers, and they could potentially face them again, or the Brewers.

What stands out about the Brewers and Astros, is they have both recently switched what leagues they play for, American and National.

On August 27, the San Francisco Giants beat Craig Counsell's former team, the Diamondback, 2-0, like how 20-years-ago, the Brewers joined the NL.  Astros = 20

On August 28, a span of 57-days to the World Series, the Brewers got beat by the Reds, 9-7.

On August 28, the Dodgers won 8-4, over the Texas Rangers, from the same state as Astros.
