So I was wrong on the end result of the Colts-Falcons game, but I'm still holding to my prediction for now. It actually makes sense for the Colts to beat the Broncos, followed by Atlanta. Note that Manning did not start the game today, 17 Osweiler did. And I was also thinking ATL would go 11-5. We'll see.
I saw many of the same numbers I'd been seeing. Perhaps I'll get to them later. I called the interception returned for a touchdown, for instance.
Note Indiana's (college) Tevin Coleman became the primary running back today after a Freeman concussion. You know he had 17 carries.
IND 2-10 33 yard line Hasselbeck intercepted with 14:02 on the clock, like the 14-2 Atlanta record 17 years ago. I also find it curious that Kaeperick is now on IR after doing his cameo in the previous Atlanta game. You know, for the 2-7-(20+16) 36 second cameo.
Ryan's first interception in his 3 TD 3 INT performance was to former Falcon Dwight Lowery (#33) from Santa Cruz, also attended San Jose State.
And of course his last interception to 27 year old tight end Colby Fleener (Stanford). Why not?
The loss makes sense also because the Falcons beat Manning's rookie year Colts in 98.
Hasselbeck a 6th rounder by Green Bay, traded to Seattle, is from Colorado. Of course. He and Ryan went to Boston College. This is Hasselbeck's...you know. 17th season.
After Ryan's Pick 6, the time on the clock when they got the ball back was 10:07.
