Nice catch Stephan. Some might say Hurricane Sandy was the water and eastern seaboard. For many years, I've been thinking that eventually they will do something awful in the Northeast, cause westward migration, and likely shift the capital to a place like Denver, CO.

DeleteHowever, I have to say that the books don't go into the reasons why the eastern United States was washed over and which caused western migration. It's only left to the reader why it happened, rising sea levels due to global warming, perhaps.

I've been trying to figure out the same thing. I somehow missed the Adam Sandler thing last year but heard it on Stuff You Should Know's podcast, so I checked it out. I've been staring at this page for several minutes just trying to figure it out.
