DeleteThe masks were worn by doctors, the beaks stuffed with nice smelling herbs. Before germ theory, it was believed that the plague was transmitted by inhaling disease causing vapors.
ReplyDeleteYes Edward, it totally looks like a Plague Doctor! I have seen that character used symbolically by self proclaimed truth tellers. The thing that's creepy is it's said that plague doctors actually spread the plague their "uniforms" prevented them from catching. So while people were blaming cats and rats and everything else, there was another plague ridden culprit invited into people's homes. :./
DeleteFrom what I see this is another eugenics attack on birth and creation. The symbolism on the wall behind the plague doctor is the metaphysical G inside a Yoni. And the symbol below it is Yod, the seed. This is an attack on the coming together of the masculine and feminine to create children. They probably used Obama as the threat focus because he represents so much symbolically, in this respect. How many times have we heard mothers and fathers telling their children they can be anything they want, even President of the United States, if they just work hard enough.
