44 School Shootings Since Sandy Hook

Today the mainstream media is reporting that 44 public school shootings have taken place since the December 14, 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut.  It begs the question, why is the mainstream media reporting this in unison at the "44 school shootings" mark?  And further, how many of these shootings are authentic, as opposed to media manipulations as the Sandy Hook School shooting was, and several others have appeared to be?

The articles further detail that this rate of shootings breaks down to one school shooting every ten days.  It is important to keep in mind that our media is designed to scare us with things we have no reason of being afraid of, such as school shootings.  Also, let it be known that on December 14, 2012, I was teaching and working in a school in Washington State, and I had to deal with many frightened parents who feared for their children's safety after what was reported in Newton, Connecticut.  I did not realize until sometime after that the events of that day were fake, because never before had I assumed that the mainstream media was purposefully creating fake news.  In that regard, I'm glad to have my awareness heightened so that I can better understand the world I am living in.  Without the Sandy Hook hoax and Boston Marathon bombings, I very well might have never figured out these number patterns.
