37 64 67 77 | 37-Years Since Last Triple Crown Winner, Can 'American Pharaoh' Do It?




American Pharaoh has the numbers of the times.
  • American = 1+13+5+18+9+3+1+14 = 64
  • Pharaoh = 16+8+1+18+1+15+8 = 67
  • American Pharaoh = 131
  • American = 1+4+5+9+9+3+1+5 = 37
  • Pharaoh = 7+8+1+9+1+6+8 = 40
  • American Pharaoh = 77
It has been 37-years since the last Triple Crown river, can 'American' Pharaoh break the streak?  We'll have to take a look at the other horses in the upcoming meet before race time.

    If 1-5-3 came out instead of 1-5-7 I would have gotten a nice payout. Oh well. This race was the 13th race of the day at this track and in the 12th race the horse that Victor Espinosa was supposed to ride but scratched (hmmm) was named "Grand Tito".

    Grand Tito:
    7+9+1+5+4+2+9+2+6=45
    7+18+1+14+4+20+9+20+15=108

    Preakness:
    7+9+5+1+11+5+5+1+1=45
    16+18+5+1+11+14+5+19+19=108

      I should add.. It was a late scratch, so Victor did not ride at all in race 12.
