33 113 | Athletics vs Royals Playoff Game in Review

Notice who is featured front and center of the article on the KC Royals win over the Oakland Athletics.  It is Eric Hosmer, the man who hit the game winning home run in the eleventh inning last night against the Los Angeles Angels.
  • Royal = 9+6+7+1+3 = 26
  • Eric = 5+9+9+3 = 26
  • Hosmer = 8+6+1+4+5+9 = 33
  • K = 11; C = 3; KC = 113
What is even more curious is the odds of the Athletics losing seven playoff games in a span of 14-years.  Talk about defying the odds.  Remember though, this stuff is all scripted, and the Athletics are treated often like farm teams for the 'big papas' of MLB if you will.
  • Athletic = 1+2+8+3+5+2+9+3 = 33
  • Athlete = 1+2+8+3+5+2+5 = 26
One last thought, I wonder if the 'riggers' were hoping for a 4 hour 44 minute finish.  I think Homer's popup was supposed to be the game winning shot.
