On the day the Kansas City Royals won their last game in the World Series, October 28, 2014, the Gateway Arch turned 49-years old. This is interesting because the Royals lost to the Giants in the World Series, who hail from San Francisco, home of the 49ers.
- Gateway = 7+1+2+5+5+1+7 = 28
- Arch = 1+9+3+8 = 21
- Gateway Arch = 28+21 = 49
- Construction completed October 28, 1965
- 10/28/1965 = 10+28+19+65 = 122
- Opened to public June 10, 1967
- Inaugurated May 25, 1968
- Construction began February 12, 1963
- 2/12/63 = 2+12+63 = 77
- 2/12/196 = 2+12+19+63 = 93
The land and project was first conceptualized in 1933, and the design was made in 1947.
Connect this information back to the Hoover Dam, which was constructed for $49million, and might very well blow during Super Bowl 49. The Hoover Dam had the San Francisco vs Kansas City World Series coded into it; see earlier blog posts.
