Jackie Robinson was called up to the major white leagues on April 15, 1947, the anniversary of the Titanic fully sinking and Lincoln dying.

He was made to wear the number 42, but for what reason? This is a number of much importance and significance, and not always in the best ways, especially for black Americans. Take the recent death of Michael Brown for example, or MB, or 42.
- Ferguson = 42
- Missouri = 42
- Nigger = 5+9+7+7+5+9 = 42
- Negro = 14+5+7+18+15 = 59
