In 2013, I theorized a region of the country, in the SW, would be hurt, possibly from a "natural disaster", and would be without power for a sustained period of time as a trial run before the national power outage.  This was based on popular fiction being put out hinting at such scenarios.  Also at that time, Janet Napolitano said it was coming, the national power outage.
