Notice, CBS wrote their article about the 'Seattle' Seahawks winning the NFC in the Madden 19 simulation on August 2, 2018.

August 2 can be written 2/8 or 8/2, like 28 and 82
8/2/18 = 8+2+18 = 28
As for the 'Jaguars' winning, recall Super Bowl 53 will be the 49th of the modern era.

With our eyes on the Redskins in the NFC, keep in mind they're the other Washington team, kind of like how the Madden simulation had the wrong "bird team" last year, Atlanta instead of Philadelphia.
Also, with regards to the two Washington teams, don't forget they're the only NFL teams to have black QBs win the Super Bowl, where Doug Williams of the Redskins won with 42-points, and Russell Wilson won while playing for the team from the 42nd State.
