47 68 | The demolition of the world's tallest building at the time, the 47-story Singer Building, 1968, in New York City

The Singer Building / Tower was 47-story building, demolished, in 1968, in New York City.  If you ask me, this seems to be a ritual, perhaps even practice, for what was planed on September 11, 2001, when the 110-story WTCs 1 and 2 came crashing down, and the 47-story Building 7 fell hours later in the day.  Osama bin Laden = 47 / 110

I am having trouble finding the date it was demolished in 1968.  I'm wondering if it was just before construction began on the World Trade Centers, August of 1968.

The new building that was erected in the place of the Singer Tower, was One Liberty Plaza, having 39-elevators, ha!  New York = 39; NY = 39; NYC = 39; Empire = 39
