144 | The Chicago Cubs Club Has Existed Since 1871, 144-Years

Maestro said 144 has been my number all year which is true.  I did say to watch for that coming out of the Super Bowl.  Well, guess who is 144-years old this season, counting the "White Stocking" years...

The Cubs face the Pittsburgh Pirates, who are the only team with more 106 connections to this year's World Series than the Cubs.  If the Cubs were to win the World Series this year, it would be the first time in 107-years, but also the first time in 106-season because of no World Series in 1994.

Notice the game between the two teams comes on 10/7.  If there is any reason to give the edge to the Cubs, besides the 'Back to the Future Part II' prediction, it is this.

    Pittsburgh Pirates =228.

    Timespan between PNC Park's opening and 9/11 was 23 weeks 3 days.
    Like 233, the Fibonacci number after 144.
