The Seal of Portland, OR was adopted March 22, 1878.  Where have we seen these numbers before?  Worse yet, the Seal features a Star of David.
  • Star = 19+20+1+18 = 58
  • of = 15+6 = 21
  • David = 4+1+22+9+4 = 40
  • Star of David = 119
  • Portland Seal established March 22; 3/22
The tribute to year 1851 is also curious.  It was 1851 the New York Times was established, September 18.
  • 9/18/1851 = 9+1+8+1+8+5+1 = 33
  • 9/18/51 = 9+18+51 = 78
