It is reported that Japanese racing favorite, Admire Rakti, a thoroughbred racing horse, was put down after the Melbourne Cup last night. This news is making headlines across mainstream media. It is said that the horse jumped into the crowd after a fan waved a flag at it, causing the injury that lead to being "put down".
