This is know mystery when you know Gematria.  It is as clear as day why they blacked out Lady Liberty on March 7.  It's the same reason WikiLeaks dropped the bomb with the loss of liberty news on March 7.  It's even connected to Al Franken coming out on March 7 saying that Jeff Sessions perjured himself.

Remember, March 7 is the 66th day of the year.  Lady Liberty is a symbol of 'freedom'.

Keep in mind, New York is the 11th State, the Empire State, where Lady Liberty is.
