    I think I may have something here.

    Bob Simon: 19+70 = 89 (Simple English Gematria)
    I then looked at 60 Minutes a little closer with the Pythagorean method.
    Minutes: 4+9+5+3+2+5+1 = 29 (Pythagorean Gematria)
    60 Minutes: 60+29 =89

    Bob Simon was in a Lincoln Town Car. Check this out.
    Lincoln: 12+9+14+3+15+12+14 = 79 (SEG)
    Town: 20+15+23+14 = 72 (SEG)
    Car: 3+1+18 = 22 (SEG)
    Lincoln Town Car: 79+72+22 = 173
    Bob Simon died at age 73.

    Think about Seventy Three.
    Seventy: 19+5+22+5+14+20+25 = 110 (SEG)
    Three: 20+8+18+5+5 = 56 (SEG)
    Seventy Three: 110+56 = 166
    And...he was a War Correspondent.
    War: 23+1+18 = 42 (SEG)

    Forty-Two is the meaning of life number and correspondent sums to 166, which is the same gematria value to seventy three (Simon's age upon death).
