13 33 41 113 | The reason Kobe Bryant Went #13 to Charlotte in 1996, and not earlier to Boston (or other teams)

Kobe Bryant was drafted #13, in the 1996 NBA Draft, by the Charlotte Hornets.  The reason why, is because every professional sports draft is 'by the numbers'.

Kobe = 2+6+2+5 = 15
Bryant = 2+9+7+1+5+2 = 26
Kobe Bryant = 41

41 is the 13th prime number.  Kobe Bryant (41), taken as the 13th pick.

Also, North Carolina is 'basketball weirdo land', and a lot of NBA greats pass through there, including Michael Jordan, who was a Tarheel, and who Kobe Bryant is most closely associated with.

Charlotte = 3+8+1+9+3+6+2+2+5 = 39 (13x3 = 39)

We know how these masons love their triplets, and 3x13 is 39, matching the gematria of Charlotte.

Let us not forget Kobe's recent 'retirement poem', titled Dear Basketball.

Dear = 4+5+1+9 = 19
Basketball = 2+1+1+2+5+2+2+1+3+3 = 22/31
Dear Basketball = 41/50

Dear = 4+5+1+18 = 28
Basketball = 2+1+19+11+5+20+2+1+12+12 = 85
Dear Basketball = 113

Kobe = 11+15+2+5 = 33
Bryant = 2+18+25+1+14+20 = 80
Kobe Bryant = 113

Michael = 13+9+3+8+1+5+12 = 51
Jordan = 10+15+18+4+1+14 = 62
Michael Jordan = 113

Do you think it is any coincidence that Michael Jordan finds himself in Charlotte these days, seeing over the operations of the Charlotte Bobcats?  Of course not.

One last point, the NBA is a '33' league and Massachusetts, home of the Celtics, is '33' land.

Massachusetts = 4+1+1+1+1+3+8+3+1+5+2+2+1 = 33 (One of only 3 States)
Bird = 2+9+18+4 = 33
Kobe = 11+15+2+5 = 33

It could have been a fit, but again, there is a reason Kobe went #13 to Charlotte, before being traded to Los Angeles, another land of '33'.

Magic = 13+1+7+9+3 = 33
