John Boehner Resignation Headlines, "I decided today is the day"

The lie starts with "I".  This was not John Boehner's decision.  He is not the numbers boss.

  2. I wonder if this is why he was crying so much yesterday?

    1. The dude announced the resignation today but earlier it said he changed his mind (on the announcement) and then proceeded to do it anyways.
Odd how they are behaving. Belief is a pretty strong thing. These ppl must really think the pope is "most holy father" considering that is how they refer to him. That's the equivalent of calling him god. Am I the only one who thinks this is weird?
Boener being the one referring to him as the most holy (in the video of B announcing the pope's visit this september) back a couple months.

    2. No, you're not the only one who thinks it's odd. I always capitalize God, but never pope. It amazes me that people idolize people at all. What makes one person more special than anyone else? I've never went gaga over any of the 'celebrities' of this world, Hollywood, Washington, or otherwise, and one of my favorite sayings is: God's chosen people can only be everybody. That saying keeps me out of the hate and judgment that religion seems to breed.

As for Boehner--good riddance--here's hoping he doesn't live much longer drawing his golden parachute of severance pay.
