When I read about this my initial thoughts went to that incident in Boston not long ago--where the cop shot up his own car and they were hunting for the maroon truck. Part of me wonders if someone sent out this 'warning' as a preemptive strike. I read that someone pushed the wrong button. Maybe someone pushed the right button too early and saved a lot of people and real estate. I don't know, but I've NEVER mistaken a warning on the TV or radio for the real thing so it really makes me wonder.
Being from CT, on the coast, this is certainly concerning. On a side note, every time I see the damn PIX11, I can't help but notice the not so subtle placement of the 911.
