33 84 142 222 333 | The 76ers Last Won the NBA Finals 33-Years Ago This Season (Worst Start In NBA History)

The 76ers are now 0-18 and the Warriors are now 18-0.  Recall, the Philadelphia Warriors are the original Warriors.  Last year, Iguodola who played the majority of his career with the Philadelphia 76ers, won Finals MVP with the Warriors.  The 76ers accomplished this feat 33-days after the city turned 333-years old.

United States of America = 84

Notice that the 76ers had 77.  In that year, they lost to the Portland Trailblazers, in the year '77, at the end of the '76-'77 season.  Bill Walton was on that Blazers team, and recently his son won as the coach with the Warriors, 77-111 over the Los Angeles Lakers.  It was the Lakers and Warriors that met in the first ever NBA Championship, at the close of the '47-season.

They also shot 33.3% from the three point land, which could be a coincidence, going 12-36 (a lot of attempts), on the 333rd day of the year.  Again, Philadelphia turned 333-years old 33-days earlier.  Interestingly enough, the 76ers won the NBA Finals 33-years ago, in the '82-'83 season.

Philadelphia turned 333-years old October 27, 2015.

I love that that game was 2 hours and 22 minutes.  That is also 142 minutes.
